Farmers' Markets 2010

Chris selling tomatoes at Green City Market in Chicago

We love the direct interaction with customers we have at farmers’ markets—so much so that we’re branching out in 2010 to participate in about 30 markets in the Chicago area and another 10 or so in Wisconsin.  Stop by our stand at any market to sample our salsas and preserves, or maybe some soup or a taste of our spicy Bloody Mary mix.  You’ll taste the garden-freshness that comes from bottling our products within a block from where the ingredients are harvested.

At a few markets, we’ll have organic bedding plants in May and early June—the same seedlings we plant for our CSA and kitchen production.  And at those markets we’ll satisfy your earliest tomato cravings with our candy-sweet SunGolds, versatile Juliets, and the tastiest heirloom and hybrid slicers you’ll find anywhere.

Farmers Chris and Sarah will each be at either a Madison or Chicago market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but until we learn how to clone them, we’ll have a cadre of friendly and well informed market sellers on hand to tell you about our farm and our products and offer you samples.

See the list of farmers markets we’ll be attending and come early, come often.  We look forward to meeting you there.
