Types of Membership
Select Sustaining Membership or season-to-season membership to have the best possible arrangement for yourself.
♦ Both types of Sustaining Memberships are ongoing subscriptions meant for folks who are interested in committing for the full year. While there is no contract, please understand that the Sustainer program gives you the best value (and the best understanding of our CSA) if you stick around for the full year.
♦ Seasonal signups: If you would like to try us out for a particular season, or prefer signing up on a season-to-season basis, we can work with that, too! The next upcoming season will always be available in our signup area, with prorated pricing available until halfway through each season.
You can start up (or switch to) the Sustainer program at any time. Also, contact us if you ever need to change your share size -- we're flexible.
For a general run-down of our expected crops this year, take a look at our crop calendar. Our list of crops is also located to the right of this page. Also see our 2015 season details and our pricing breakdown for more information.
Just like supporting your local radio station or a non-profit, our Monthly Sustainer program offers a way to pay a flat monthly rate and receive your share on each of our 42 weeks. We take the total value for the year, divide it by 12, and bring you flat, automatic monthly payments.
Includes bi-weekly deliveries of larger shares mid-January through late March and weekly deliveries of just-right-sized boxes mid-April through mid-December. Change share size or any options at any time.
Joining as a sustainer means that you intend to stick with us through the next year -- if you're just trying out the CSA, we recommend signing up on a season-by-season basis.
Similar to the Monthly Sustainer plan, the Semiannual Sustainer plan offers automatic withdrawal every six months (don't worry -- we'll always give you a heads up before we withdraw payment).
Pricing accounts for one free box -- a discount for your upfront show of support for our work.
Mid-January (14/16) through late March (25/27)
Don't let the cold weather get you down--our frost-sweetened Winter spinach is one of the best crops we grow all year. Boxes will also include stored root crops, jars of our delicious Whole Roasted Tomatoes, and farm-frozen items such as our pureed butternut squash.
Mid-April (15/17) through the first week of July (1/3)
The perfect time of year for lovers of greens (lettuce, kale, chard, bok choi, spinach), with a handful of roots like sweet salad turnips, radishes, beets, and carrots.
Late Sept/Early Oct (Sept 31/Oct 2) through Dec (16/18)
Includes great greens, including our super-sweet winter spinach, brassicas (broccoli, cabbage, kohlrabi), roots (turnips, beets, carrots, leeks, radishes), and storage crops such as winter squash, potatoes, onions and garlic.
