Stewed cabbage & bacon

Simple, nourishing, easy to make, delicious.

All things taste better with bacon, and cabbage is no exception. There’s a ton of ways to get this one done. Our favorite way, which also happens to be the easiest, is to chop your bacon, chop your cabbage. Heat up bacon, get the grease going, add cabbage, simmer until all is well cooked. Add salt and some mustard, cook a little while longer, and you’re all set. An absolutely divine, very simple side that is basically a meal in itself.
